Glazing horn works differently from acetate. Horn does not soften appreciably when heated, it cannot be stretched to accommodate an oversized lens, and forcing a lens into an undersized eyewire cracks the frame rather than flexing it. Success depends on precise lens sizing, careful warming to maximise temporary resilience, and swift confident insertion.
