Component Description
Having the stock match the complex dimension of the post-lamination of the pad block optimizes the cutting path when cutting out your frame model. Regarding dimensions, these were chosen because they fit the workflow of using the SBT bed and its accompanying pilot hole drilling jig. This is the standard dimension of 6mm acetate blank used by the creator, and the standard 4mm pad block dimension. Your mileage may vary, but the principle remains the same; the dimensions can easily be altered within the sketch, but a midline must be drawn to re-center the new dimension you choose to the origin point.

Usage Notes
Having stock material set to a standard dimension makes stock layout and manufacturing workflow much easier, if using Fusion 360. Drag-and-drop the stock material file from your library into your file with your frame front model. Assuming you have aligned your center point of the frame front model with the origin, the stock should align itself properly, and any fine adjustments can be made up or down as needed.
